The heatsink cooling solution on EVGA's GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB graphics card is similar to NVIDIA's reference model, with the plastic shroud covering the heatsink taking over the entire PCB. Of course, EVGA adds their own styling to this cover.

The GeForce GTX 550 Ti has two dual-link DVI and one HDMI outputs. The graphics card cooler exhausts heat from the second expansion slot.

The GeForce GTX 550 Ti requires one six-pin PCI Express power connector to provide adequate power beyond the PCI Express 2.0 x16 interface.
