Lastly is a look at the geometric mean of all the benchmark results that successfully ran on all seven tested systems:

If looking at this overall metric, the Jetson AGX Xavier CPU performance indeed comes in at more than double of the Jetson TX2. Or compared to the ODROID-XU4 with its reasonably powerful Exynos SoC among the lower-tier of ARM SBCs, the Jetson AGX Xavier CPU performance was nearly eight times faster. The overall CPU performance of these eight Carmel CPU cores came in at 75% the speed of the Core i5 Kabylake U-series processors. Of course, if looking just at the multi-threaded performance, the AGX Xavier would be better positioned thanks to its extra cores.

Well, hopefully you found these numbers interesting if you have been wondering about the NVIDIA ARMv8 Carmel CPU performance potential aside from just the GPU/hybrid performance numbers. See the earlier NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier benchmarks for plenty more performance numbers of this very powerful ARM developer board.
