Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is an older Linux game port now, but still one of the most demanding Linux OpenGL native games available as it was one of the last OpenGL-only ports done by Feral Interactive. When running at 1440p with high quality settings it was a bit much for this title on the RTX 2060 only seeing an average frame-rate of about 50 FPS. The Radeon RX Vega 64 meanwhile squeezed in at 51 FPS while the GTX 1080 was coming in at 54 FPS.

The GeForce RTX 2060 performance-per-Watt for this OpenGL game was on-par with the high-end Maxwell cards and the RTX 2070 but behind the RTX 2080 series and higher... While the RX Vega 64 can compete with the RTX 2060 in some of the game benchmarks to be shown, where AMD's current wares really struggle is with the performance-per-Watt. The performance-per-Watt of the RTX 2060 was double that of the RX Vega 64 and RX 590 for this first game test.

F1 2017 was tested as the newest racing game that is natively available for Linux (F1 2018 results are up next, which runs under Steam Play as it's currently Windows-only). The RTX 2060 could run with ease at 1440p with ultra high quality settings. The RTX 2060 ran at a 101 FPS average while the RX Vega 64 FPS came in at 95 FPS, but this new Turing card offers a much higher minimum FPS at 89 vs. 79. The RTX 2060 for this Vulkan-powered game was just frames behind the GTX 1080.

On a performance-per-Watt basis, the RTX 2060 -- and all of the Turing cards for that matter -- are performing very well and significantly better than AMD's Polaris and Vega hardware.
