Windows 11 vs. Ubuntu 24.10 Performance For Intel Core Ultra 7 Lunar Lake

With SVT-AV1 as the leading open-source AV1 video encoder, Ubuntu 24.10 was showing very nice gains across the board compared to Windows 11 out-of-the-box on this ASUS Zenbook S 14 laptop.

OSPRay benchmark with settings of Benchmark: particle_volume/ao/real_time. Ubuntu 24.10 was the fastest.
OSPRay benchmark with settings of Benchmark: particle_volume/scivis/real_time. Ubuntu 24.10 was the fastest.

Across a variety of creator workloads, Ubuntu 24.10 was outperforming Windows 11. This isn't entirely unexpected given my past Intel/AMD Windows vs. Linux CPU benchmarks, but wasn't sure going into this with Lunar Lake if it would still pan out or not given the troubles I've had at least on the Xe2 graphics side.
