EXT4 Still Leads Over Btrfs File-System On Linux 3.8
There are EXT4/Btrfs file-system performance changes here and there, but overall
there aren't any exciting changes to note between these recent Linux kernel releases
that are affecting the stock file-system performance from a high-end Intel SSD
on Linux. Also worth pointing out though is that overall EXT4 is still the higher-performing
file-system over Btrfs.
