Increasing the resolution strengthened the Linux 3.12 benefits for the 9800GTX where it was now 12% faster. The GT 220 and GTX 680 also had small leads in performance.

The gains made by the Linux 3.12 kernel changes were similar as well when running Xonotic with ultra quality settings.

Up next in my Linux 3.12 kernel performance investigation will likely be binary driver tests and power consumption monitoring.
