The Current Spectre / Meltdown Mitigation Overhead Benchmarks On Linux 5.0
Microsoft's Ethr network benchmarks are easy in some of the scenarios to show some of the networking costs associated with the Spectre/Meltdown mitigations though in this particular test both the client/server were running on the same host due to eliminate external noise.
Netperf also shows some sizable hits on the Intel side while on the AMD side it was still a significant hit but much less so than Intel.
