Intel Compute Runtime 24.45 vs. AMD ROCm 6.3 vs. NVIDIA R565 Linux GPU Compute Benchmarks

GpuOwl benchmark with settings of Exponent: 57885161. RX 7800 XT was the fastest.
GpuOwl benchmark with settings of Exponent: 77936867. RX 7800 XT was the fastest.
GpuOwl benchmark with settings of Exponent: 332220523. RX 7800 XT was the fastest.

The Compute Runtime stack from Intel did have issues running GpuOwl with the Alchemist cards.

cl-mem benchmark with settings of Benchmark: Copy. RX 7800 XT was the fastest.
clpeak benchmark with settings of OpenCL Test: Global Memory Bandwidth. RX 7800 XT was the fastest.
clpeak benchmark with settings of OpenCL Test: Single-Precision Compute. RTX 4070 SUPER was the fastest.

For many different OpenCL workloads the Intel Arc Graphics Alchemist cards continued proving to be quite competitive against current NVIDIA RTX 40 and AMD RDNA3 wares in the mid-range space.

Darktable benchmark with settings of Test: Boat, Acceleration: OpenCL. RTX 4070 SUPER was the fastest.
Darktable benchmark with settings of Test: Masskrug, Acceleration: OpenCL. RX 7800 XT was the fastest.
Darktable benchmark with settings of Test: Server Room, Acceleration: OpenCL. RX 7800 XT was the fastest.

All three vendor GPU compute stacks ended up working out fine on Ubuntu 24.10.
