Intel Compute Runtime 24.45 vs. AMD ROCm 6.3 vs. NVIDIA R565 Linux GPU Compute Benchmarks
As we've seen before in prior Intel Compute Runtime testing on Linux, the Intel Arc Graphics discrete hardware can be quite competitive to AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards for OpenCL workloads.
But for performance-per-Watt is where the DG2/Alchemist GPUs have lagged behind so it will be interesting to see where Battlemage pulls into the equation.
For a number of OpenCL workloads the Intel Arc Graphics can be very competitive with their open-source GPU compute stack but there are some exceptions.
With the FluidX3D CFD software the Intel Arc Graphics can outperform their Radeon RDNA3 equivalents with ROCm.
