With the basic SQLite benchmark, all of the systems tested reported slightly longer run times for completing this test when using the Linux 4.16 kernel.

While the random reads and random writes with FIO were a mix of around the same performance, some slightly higher performance with Linux 4.16, and also some losses.

With FS_Mark, some of the systems were also encountering losses.

Compile Bench meanwhile was seeing slightly better performance on three of the systems.
