Storage / File-Systems:
- An improvement yielding a big speed boost for small I/O activity due to a change to the inode i_version field.
- Many low-level improvements to XFS and promoting some functionality from experimental.
- Continued work on improving Btrfs RAID 5 / 6 with several more fixes this cycle.
- Various enhancements to the F2FS file-system.
- Another hearty set of block updates with improvements for BCache, NVMe, and other bits of code.
- EXT4 fixes.
- OverlayFS NFS export abilities.
Graphics / Display:
- AMDGPU DC multi-display synchronization.
- Moving the AMDGPU scheduler to a common area with the Etnaviv DRM driver hoping to make use of it next kernel driver.
- AMDKFD improvements for HSA/compute while the Linux 4.17 kernel is where it will be more exciting for discrete Radeon owners.
- The Intel DRM driver has continued work on maturing the Cannonlake "Gen 10" graphics support.
- Jetson TX2 display support.
- Clock gating and GP108 support for the Nouveau DRM driver.
