ROC-RK3328-CC: A Raspberry Pi Competitor With Gigabit Ethernet, USB3, DDR4
The Firefly ROC-RK3328-CC did outperform the Raspberry Pi 3 B+ performance by a decent amount in the Python language performance.
This Rockchip board also offered better PHP performance.
Running several operations on a Git repository was faster too with this board over the Raspberry Pi but the ODROID-C2 and ASUS Tinker Board as other sub-$100 ARM SBCs were faster.
The ROC-RK3328-CC did perform just ahead of the ODROID-C2 with the SciKit-Learn performance.
This Libre Computer Board generally performed faster than the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ while costing just dollars more. Even in the few cases where the performance was similar between the ROC-RK3328-CC and Raspberry Pi, the advantages of this Libre/FireFly ARM SBC include the use of DDR4 memory, USB 3.0 support, and Gigabit Ethernet.
