2011 Linux Graphics Survey Results
Compositing window managers, of course, are very widespread in 2011.
There is a variety of concerns when it comes to Linux video drivers. Stability is key along with the aforementioned OpenGL performance and video acceleration interests.
Most taking this survey are Linux desktop users playing back videos and/or gaming.
Most respondents classify themselves as mainstream users.
