Lexmark's Linux Secret
On the front of this Lexmark printer is a memory card reader slot for connecting a digital camera memory card directly to the printer. Supported formats include Sony Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard, and xD. Other formats like Memory Stick Duo, Mini SD, RS-MMC, and SDHC cards are supported too, but require the use of an adapter. There is also a USB pass-through connector next to this memory card slot for PictBridge.
One of the exciting areas about this printer that is new in their 2009 line-up is the LCD display on the front that is a touch-screen. This makes it very nice and easy. The WQVGA screen looks great too as we will mention more later in this review. Below the 109 mm LCD touch-screen is where the printed papers are outputted and below that is the paper tray. The Platinum Pro905 also has a second paper tray that also has a 150-page capacity.
