Benchmarking AMD Ryzen 5 5500U Linux Performance With A $450 Lenovo Laptop

The Ryzen 5 5500U could handle AV1 content easily via the dav1d decoder though for 10-bit content the AVX-512 Ice Lake / Tiger Lake CPUs offer superior performance.

For some of Intel's own software packages like OSPray and Embree, the Ryzen 5 5500U was outperforming the Intel CPUs tested even the Core i7 9750H 6c/12t processor.
