Motherboard Layout:

The Jetway NC92-230-LF is a mini ITX board that measures in at 17 x 17cm and has barely enough room to fit all of the components. Found immediately on the right hand side of the motherboard is the single DDR2-533MHz slot with the IDE and FDD connectors filling the void between the DIMM slot and the edge of the PCB. On the opposite side is the Intel Atom N230 CPU, which operates at 1.6GHz, has 512KB of L2 cache, and runs off a 533MHz FSB. This Intel processor that has a maximum TDP of 4 Watts is covered by a very small heatsink. There is an aluminum heatsink with fan found on this motherboard, but that's for the Intel 945GC Northbridge. The CPU is actually underneath the passively cooled aluminum heatsink at the top of the NC92-230-LF.

Next to the Intel 945GC Northbridge is the Intel ICH7 Southbridge, which doesn't generate enough heat to require any cooling system. Near the bottom of the motherboard are the two Serial ATA 2.0 ports, one PCI slot, and an expansion connector for attaching any daughter boards. Found on the Jetway motherboard is a Realtek ALC662 HD Audio codec, Realtek RTL8111C Gigabit Ethernet, and Fintek F71862FG Super I/O ASIC. In the upper left-hand corner of the NC92-230-LF is the 20-pin ATX power connector.

The ports at the rear of the motherboard include two PS/2, one COM, one VGA, four USN 2.0, one 10/100/1000 Ethernet, and three audio jacks.
