Intel UXA Acceleration Performance
The performance of UXA is certainly appealing, but as we shared, it's not without screen corruption and the X Server crashing in some situations. Additionally, there have been some serious performance regressions recently in the Intel X.Org stack, which we are continuing to investigate. Additionally, the UMA Acceleration Architecture also requires a kernel that's built with the Graphics Execution Manager.
Going into 2009 we will hopefully see a revised version of EXA that's able to incorporate the improvements found in UMA.
