Intel SNA Acceleration Architecture Continues To Mature

SNA is able to provide some noticeable performance improvements for Linux OpenGL applications along with 2D programs, but it is still not a trouble-free experience. The ioquake3-based games still show just a black screen when running, among other well-known SNA acceleration bugs. Regardless, it is nice to see Intel's continued investments to their Linux driver stack as they gear up for an exciting Ivy Bridge hardware launch in 2012.
