Windows 8.1 Still Outperforms Linux With Latest Intel GPU Drivers

With Nexuiz at 1080p the performance of Ubuntu 14.04 was just behind Windows 8.1 Pro to the point that most gamers likely wouldn't have noticed the difference

With the very basic OpenArena game, the Ubuntu 14.04 performance was slightly ahead of Windows 8.1 Pro but again to barely no difference.

When running the more-demanding Unigine Sanctuary test, Windows 8.1 Pro was significantly faster with its latest Intel Windows driver compared to the open-source Intel Linux graphics driver... Intel's Windows driver was faster to the tune of 56% faster.

The Unigine Tropics test was 37% faster on Windows than Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with the latest Linux 3.15 kernel and Mesa 10.3-devel.
