LunarG ILO Gallium3D vs. Intel's DRI Driver On Mesa 10.3-devel

Besides the raw performance being much better with the official Intel Linux OpenGL driver, the ILO Gallium3D driver only advertises OpenGL 2.1 support compared to OpenGL 3.3 (and many GL 4.x extensions) with the official Intel Mesa driver.

There were very significant performance advantages with the official Intel Linux driver that carried through with Xonotic. Besides the performance being better with the official Intel Linux driver and having OpenGL 3.3+ rather than just OpenGL 2.1, the ILO Gallium3D driver couldn't handle running Xonotic with ultimate image quality settings and it also failed to run the Tesseract game. While there are these limitations of ILO Gallium3D, it's still an interesting research project out of LunarG and it's great to see their continued upstream improvements to Mesa while working under contract with Valve, Intel, etc.
