Intel HD Graphics 2000/2500/3000 Linux 3.13 + Mesa 10.1 Update
While using Intel Haswell hardware with the latest Linux graphics driver code is a decent experience, that's certainly not the case for two to three year old Intel hardware!
With Intel Linux developers already being busy on Intel Broadwell enablement and finishing up Haswell support, Sandy Bridge owners likely won't find too many more open-source driver advancements. Ivy Bridge is even starting to get less attention, but fortunately, for some of the features being worked on recently within the Mesa and DRM drivers they do extend the support coverage as far as they can for the given feature -- generally Ivy Bridge hardware is compatible with most of the ongoing improvements.
