For Vulkan compute as well, the AMD APUs were delivering much better results:

AMD carried the advantage over to delivering better Vulkan compute performance with the RADV driver.

The ParaView workstation visualization software was also enjoying better performance on the AMD side, but at least the Core i5 12400 Alder Lake graphics are a big step up from the still common Gen9 graphics out there.

During all of these graphics tests, here is the standing for the CPU power consumption with the AMD APUs higher than the Alder Lake processors on average -- unlike the power consumption data during the CPU/system benchmarks.
