Among the Intel oneAPI benchmarks used in this comparison were Embree and OSPray.

The Core i5 12400 was performing well in (single threaded) Python workloads like Pybench, Cython-Bench, and PyHPC.

The higher core count processors obviously pay off for threaded rendering workloads like Blender, OSPray, Appleseed, V-RAY, and IndigoBench.

Those wanting to dig into the system details and all 119 individual benchmark results in total can find them over on OpenBenchmarking.org.
