Intel's Mitigation For CVE-2019-14615 Graphics Vulnerability Obliterates Gen7 iGPU Performance

The Tesseract OpenGL game used to be able to run close to 60 FPS on the Core i7 4790K but since yesterday with the newly-posted mitigation patches is pushing closer to 30 FPS.

The popular Xonotic free software game also saw huge hits to the performance, particularly with the Haswell Core i7 4790K. The Core i7 3770K difference was less but still quite measurable.
