Intel Core i7 1185G7 Linux Performance
Under Intel oneAPI workloads of Embree, Open Image Denoise, OSPray, and Open Volume Kernel Library, the i7-1185G7 was faster than the i7-1165G7 but with the Ryzen 5 5500U being the fastest out of the processors tested.
For productivity tests with LibreOffice, GIMP, and GEGL, the Core i7 1185G7 did perform well.
For Python workloads with PyBench, PyPerformance, and Numpy, the i7-1165G7 came out faster on Linux than the i7-1185G7.
The AMD Ryzen notebooks with their higher core counts work much better for CPU rendering workloads like Yafaray, OSPray, Blender, Appleseed, and Indigobench.
For software defined radio work with Liquid DSP, srsRAN, LuaRadio, and GNURadio, the two Tiger Lake notebooks were tied for first.
