Unigine Heaven as the well known and demanding OpenGL benchmark showed the Linux performance slightly outperforming Windows 11. Not too surprising though given the maturity of the Intel Iris Gallium3D driver and the OpenGL support still being more common to Linux systems than Windows.

Unigine Superposition benchmark with settings of Resolution: 1920 x 1080, Mode: Fullscreen, Quality: Low, Renderer: OpenGL. Ubuntu Linux: Arc B580 was the fastest.

Unigine Superposition benchmark with settings of Resolution: 1920 x 1080, Mode: Fullscreen, Quality: High, Renderer: OpenGL. Windows 11 24H2: Arc B580 was the fastest.

With the newer Unigine Superposition benchmark Linux maintained the performance lead at low quality settings but at high quality the Windows 11 performance was slightly faster.

Unigine Valley benchmark with settings of Resolution: 1920 x 1080, Mode: Fullscreen, Renderer: OpenGL. Ubuntu Linux: Arc B580 was the fastest.

With the Unigine Valley OpenGL benchmark being less demanding, the performance of the OpenGL open-source Linux driver was much faster than the aging Intel OpenGL Windows driver.
