Amazon EC2 M6i Performance For Intel Ice Lake In The Cloud Benchmarks

With Tencent's TNN deep learning framework the performance between Intel Ice Lake and AWS Graviton2 was quite close overall but for some models Ice Lake did extend its lead quite a bit.

On a performance-per-dollar basis in the EC2 cloud, the results were mixed.

The m6i.8xlarge instance was also pulling ahead of the m6g.8xlarge instance for Nginx HTTP web server performance.

The performance increase was also enough to offset the higher cost of M6i over M6g.
