Debian Linux vs. Debian kFreeBSD With Squeeze & Wheezy
Debian GNU/Linux was sharply faster for the Monkey Audio Encoding test profile.
The GnuPG performance was similar between the two Debian OS ports.
Overall, Debian GNU/Linux tended to perform better than Debian GNU/kFreeBSD in a majority of the benchmarks that were carried out on both Squeeze and Wheezy testing, at least for the Intel Core i7 3960X system used for today's open-source benchmarking.
