The performance impact from the hot DDR5 server memory varied based upon the workload but consistently the Corsair Vengeance Airflow Memory Cooling Fans were dropping the memory operating at DDR5-6000 by 40~50 degrees.

The Corsair Vengeance Airflow Memory Cooling Fan did a great job at keeping these server DIMM temperatures under control.

Across the span of around four hours running many different benchmarks, here is a look at the DIMMA~F Temp on this Supermicro H13SSL-N EPYC 9005 1P 4U server build. Installing two Corsair Vengeance Airflow Memory Cooling Fan led to the average memory temperature dropping by 44 degrees and the peak memory temperature was now at 70 degrees, below the DDR5 server memory throttling threshold, compared to hitting as high as 119 degrees without the extra cooling.

So just be extra mindful of the DDR5-6000/DDR5-6400 memory thermals especially if you are building your own EPYC Turin or Xeon Granite Rapids server.
