CompuLab Intense-PC2: An Excellent, Fanless, Mini PC Powered By Intel's i7 Haswell
In raw OpenGL performance, the Bay Trail NUC gets beat out by the Core i7 Ivy Bridge and Haswell processors...
Both Intense-PC units had a power draw of around 30 Watts on average or a peak of 37 Watts while the Bay Trail NUC was at 12 and 14 Watts, respectively.
The Intense-PC2 wins on a performance-per-Watt basis over the low-power Bay Trail and previous generation Ivy Bridge unit.
When looking at the CPU temperature between the Intense-PC and Intense-PC2, the newer Haswell-based Unit did better and was about 10C cooler than the older Ivy Bridge fanless PC.
The Xonotic results were similar to Tesseract.
