Cooler Master Cosmos S
When opening up the Cooler Master Cosmos S, it's quite easy to find a surplus of room and at the same time there are optimizations to this case to provide excellent airflow and effective cable management. At the front of the case are seven 5.25" drive bays and below that is the 3.5" hard drive bay adapter. These 5.25" drive bays are tool-less and screw-free when using mounting device found on the side of each bay. In front of the hard drive bays is a 120mm Cooler Master fan with red LEDs, which are able to shine through the mesh on the front of the chassis. Alternatively, this hard drive cage could be removed to offer support for more optical devices.
At the bottom of the chassis is a 120mm fan mount and at the rear of the case is a ventilation slot so that the power supply can pull air from underneath the chassis. One of the features that this case has is a fan filter on this power supply cooling area, which is what we find lacking on the SilverStone Temjin TJ09 and TJ10. This fan filter is cleanable so that it can be reused.
At the back of the Cosmos S we find the seven expansion slots and 120mm exhaust fan. For improved cable management with this case, there are a series of holes on the motherboard tray to allow cables to be hidden behind this aluminum panel. The dimensions for this case are 266 (width) x 598 (height) x 628 (depth) mm.
