With Warsow, there was not any change at all in the performance of R300g driver since earlier this month.

Using the newest Mesa code there are some minor but notable performance improvements compared to the early June test results and compared to the classic Mesa driver both what is found in the 7.9-devel code and also in the older Ubuntu 10.04 3D stack. At 800 x 600, the Gallium3D driver went from running at 94 FPS earlier this month to now 99 FPS with yesterday's code, from 91 to 96 FPS at 1024 x 768, 87 to 90 FPS at 1280 x 1024, and then just 72 to 73 FPS at 1920 x 1080.

OpenArena also runs slightly faster with the very latest Mesa R300g driver. For example, when this ioquake3 game was running at a resolution of 800 x 600 the frame-rate went from 112 to 116 FPS.
