The Ubuntu 13.10 installation to the Zenbook Prime was to a single 120GB SanDisk SSD to match the other systems, though this ultrabook does support RAID 0 for the two identical SSDs. Even outside of RAID, the solid-state drives in the ASUS UX32VD-DS72 were doing very well and generally leaving the other six laptops trailing behind.

All systems were using Ubuntu 13.10 and an EXT4 file-system for their HDD/SSD, though it's not much of a surprise that this Ivy Bridge ultrabook is shining given that it's the newest and best over these other systems of varying ages. However, these results put the Zenbook Prime performance into nice perspective.
