While at 1080p the RADV performance was the strongest on the Radeon Vulkan side, at 4K the results were more mixed with RADV still performing well but AMDGPU-PRO/AMDVLK being much more competitive.

Lastly, the Serious Sam 3 BFE results were fairly close between these three AMD Vulkan Linux driver.

It will certainly be interesting to see how AMDVLK and RADV trade blows in 2018. While AMDVLK is the official AMD Linux Vulkan driver, the RADV developers have said they plan on continuing to develop their open-source, community-driven, Mesa-based Vulkan driver. Stay tuned for plenty more Vulkan Linux benchmarks to come as well as other end-of-year Linux GPU tests.
