Within a few months its expected that there will be a modest level of OpenGL support for this newer ATI hardware within the Mesa stack, but for now interested users can watch triangles and textures, run command processor tests, and dump registers. Again, this work isn't intended for novice end-users. Everyone is welcome though to stop by the Phoronix Forums to discuss the latest ATI/AMD Linux events.
