With the Unvanquished open-source game, the performance on the open-source Radeon Gallium3D drivers (R600/RadeonSI) continues to be comparatively poor against Catalyst.

Obviously with Catalyst, any of the tested graphics cards should run Unvanquished fine while a higher-end Radeon model is needed to run on the open-source stack.

With the Warsow first person shooter, the HD 6770/6870 now run at the same speed under Gallium3D and Catalyst! With the HD 7850, the performance is even greater when using RadeonSI Gallium3D, but with the other GCN graphics processors the frame-rates show a ways to go until beating Catalyst.
