Linux 3.12 Brings Big AMD Radeon Improvements
GpuTest was rare in that it exhibited no performance improvements for the Radeon DRM driver on the Linux 3.12 kernel. While GpuTest was unaffected, the real-world OpenGL games tested saw very nice performance improvements that were generally double-digit gains. The official Linux 3.12 kernel will be out in a few weeks with the Radeon DRM improvements plus a lot of other new features.
