With our 2560 x 1600 display and octal-core system, the FirePro V8700 was 15% faster than the FireGL V8600.

The SPECViewPerf test for the Pro/Engineer viewset was in favor of the V8700, but with just a 3% margin. The Radeon HD 48700 was running at half the speed of the FireGL/FirePro models.

Another win for the FirePro V8700 at SolidWorks.
