As expected, the stock performance of the A8-3870K really is not very different from the A8-3850. Both of these high-end Llanos have the same Radeon HD 6550D graphics and the APU difference is just a 100MHz bump on the K-part. The 100MHz difference can make a small change for some of the gaming tests, but when overclocking the unlocked APU there is obviously a much greater impact. With the Catalyst Linux driver, the Radeon HD 6550D is easily outperforming the Radeon HD 4550 and Radeon HD 5450 PCI Express graphics cards, but it's running at about half the speed of the Radeon HD 5750.
