For single-threaded server tasks like PHP and Redis, the Core i9 10980XE did offer better performance, but should you be using HEDT CPUs in production web workloads you would be able to handle more load on the higher core count Threadripper CPUs. But for real web purposes, AMD EPYC processors are a more suitable choice.
