Four Years After Launch, AMD Kaveri Sees Huge Performance Boost On Linux

Once seeing how well the Kaveri performance has improved, I then fired off a second round of before/after tests, mostly at lower resolutions and a few other games.

In those lower resolution/quality scenarios, it wasn't 50% faster, but still quite a significant boost in performance at this stage.

This is quite the improvement now on the open-source AMD driver stack for those using the mature Kaveri platform, it's too bad though this change didn't happen years ago for making Kaveri APUs much more capable.
