Getting started, the Radeon R9 Fury comes out significantly faster than the Radeon R9 285, but is obviously slower than the three other AMD graphics cards using the Radeon (non-AMDGPU) kernel driver. So while the Radeon R9 Fury should by far be the fastest graphics card of this bunch, due to being stuck to running at its boot clock frequencies, the performance of this $550+ graphics card is quite low.

At least the R9 Fury at its boot speeds is fast enough to run the open-source Xonotic game... Albeit isn't something that would be recommended for actual Linux gaming since it'd be a waste to spend so much on the R9 Fury graphics card and then to run it in a crippled state.
