The Pennant hydrodynamics open-source software package also was enjoying the AMD Zen 4 3D V-Cache processors with even the 7900X3D out ahead of the 7950X.

The power-savings of the Ryzen 9 7900X3D/7950X3D processors are really the icing on the cake as even if they simply matched the power draw of the 7900X/7950X it would still be a great product for its raw performance.
