AMD Ryzen 9 3900X Linux Memory Scaling Performance
For some of our common scientific workload benchmarks, going from DDR4-2600 to DDR4-3600 yielded around a 5% boost in memory or for this test hitting DDR4-3800 meant an overall 8% boost to the performance.
With the Scalar Penta-diagonal solver test, the DDR4-3800 performance came out lower due to the higher latency.
For many scientific workloads though, DDR4-3800 continued to yield the best performance of the frequencies tested.
