Benchmarking Amazon's Graviton2 Performance With 64 Neoverse N1 Cores Against Intel Xeon, AMD EPYC
Build2 as another build system benchmark showed M6g performing very well and exceeding the similarly sized Xeon M5 and EPYC m5a instance types.
With the synthetic Coremark benchmark, M6g continued delivering better performance than the M5a and M5 instances on x86_64. The improvement from Graviton to Graviton2 also remains very noticeable.
Running some Stress-NG micro-benchmarks also ended up showing very favorable results out of the M6g instances.
