If you wish to see how your own Linux system performance compares to the results in this article, simply install the Phoronix Test Suite and run phoronix-test-suite benchmark 1802206-FO-CLOUDCPU905 for a fully-automated side-by-side comparison to the results in this article. If using PTS Git, you can use the COST_PERF_PER_HOUR= environment variable to specify an hourly price for your cloud or other operating costs for getting those additional data points too. Otherwise there is the existing COST_PERF_PER_DOLLAR= option if wishing to compare the results against a static value in determining value.
