Virtualization Made Easy In Ubuntu 8.04
The next step in the virt-manager installation process is to specify a normal disk partition or a simple file image as the destination disk for the guest operating system. For the disk image, the file size can be adjusted now or later and defaults to 4GB. Finishing off the pre-installation options are a few hardware details. The maximum memory and startup memory for the virtual machine can be adjusted with a default of 512MB. As KVM is SMP-friendly, the number of virtual CPUs can also be adjusted on multi-core systems.
Following that, the virtual machine will be setup and displays the guest operating system using VNC.
