OpenGL/OpenCL Performance & Perf-Per-Watt From NVIDIA's GeForce 9800GTX To GTX 1080
Lastly here is some overview data from the Phoronix Test Suite over the course of all these OpenGL/OpenCL benchmarks ran on all tested hardware.
The GPU temperatures over the span of all the benchmarks ran... Note that the 9800GTX had an after-market cooler and most of the other cards tested were reference models, but I decided to include the GPU temperature data just for those curious.
Here's a look at the system power consumption data over the course of all the benchmarks utilized.

Hope you enjoyed this fun comparison for Phoronix's 12th birthday. Stay tuned for more interesting and unique GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 Linux benchmarks on Phoronix still being worked on for publishing in the days ahead.
