Although AMD has an exceptional offering with their Turion 64 Mobile Technology, Intel's 32-bit Centrino Mobile Technology seems to offer the competitive edge when it comes to mobile computing for business solutions. Centrino not only optimizes the Pentium M processor performance for extended battery life, heat output, and Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology (EIST) but also combines integrated wireless LAN capabilities. With the Intel Dothan mobile core receiving a great deal of attention, partially due to its overclocking abilities when paired with such motherboards as the DFI 855GME-MGF, but also due to its speed of being a desktop replacement for mobile users. Curious about the Intel Pentium M (Dothan) with Intel Centrino Mobile Technology under Linux, we set out to test a Pentium M 750 (1.86GHz) with i915 Express Chipset and today we have our official results available for your viewing pleasure.
