The third beta of the Slackware-based Zenwalk 8.0 Linux distribution is now available for testing.

Zenwalk 8.0 has been in beta for the past few months and has shared changes with upstream Slackware like the distribution finally making use of PulseAudio.

Today's Zenwalk 8.0 Beta 3 now switches over to using the PulseAudio mixer, there is full PolicyKit integration for privileges elevation management on the desktop, improvements to some system tools, various desktop tweaks, and updates to the audio production tools. Diod has also been added as a firewall service for Zenwalk.

I have been a fan of Zenwalk now for over a decade.
